About Steph Cha

Steph Cha is the author of the mystery novels Follow Her Home (2013) and Beware Beware (2014). In her latest novel, Dead Soon Enough (2015), the “critically acclaimed author’s…Los Angeles-based P.I. Juniper Song is back in a thrilling story about heritage and responsibility, motherhood and genocide.”

Steph Cha is the noir editor for the “L.A. Review of Books” and a regular contributor to the Los Angeles Times, USA Today and Trop Magazine. The L.A. Times called Steph Cha "the world’s only author of Korean American feminist noir." She writes articles, book reviews, and humor pieces.

A graduate of Stanford University and Yale Law School, she lives in her native city of Los Angeles, California, with her husband and basset hound, Duke.

Her latest novel is Dead Soon Enough.
