24/7 Live Research Help

Research Sessions

Many faculty members bring their classes to the PCC Library each semester for a research session, where students are introduced to the library and get hands on-experience locating resources for their research assignments. Now, PCC Librarians are offering virtual research sessions. Schedule one for your class!

Interlibrary Loan

If you need a book or article that is not available through PCC, we can request it to be delivered to you electronically from another library. Make an interlibrary loan request.

Ebooks and Audiobooks

The PCC Library subscribes to several ebook platforms, with most titles available to an unlimited number of students simultaneously. Learn about and explore our ebook collections!
If you're looking for a specific book, use the library catalog search box on the library homepage. Click on the Books category and enter the title you're seeking. When search results appear, click "Available Online" in the filters on the left side of the screen:

Library Databases

Our library databases are accessible from anywhere you have Internet access! When off-campus, you'll be prompted to log in with your LancerPoint username and password. Our databases offer magazine, newspaper, and scholarly journal articles. They also contain primary sources, videos, art and photography images and encyclopedia/reference material.

How-To Videos

PCC Librarians are creating a library of brief videos that can help students with their research. Topics covered include Topic and Keyword Brainstorming, Evaluating Sources, Searching Databases, and MLA and APA citations.
