Citation Style

Formatting Your References Page

  • Title the page References. Center the title.
  • Use one of the following fonts:
    Times New Roman 11, Calibri 11, Arial 11, Lucina Sans Unicode 10, Georgia 11, or Computer Modern 10.
  • Order citations alphabetically.
  • Double space throughout.
  • Begin each citation at the left margin. Use a hanging indent (0.5 inch from the left margin) for all subsequent lines.

  • If DOI (digital object identifier) is available for any online source, include it at the end of the citation, formatted as follows:
    https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-030-13582-9_11
  • For each citation, include all authors up to and including twenty. Example:
    Garrod, A., Kilkenny, R., Benson, M., & Prince, S.
