About Milo Reice

The art of Milo Reice (b. 1952 in Port Jefferson, New York) reflects his childhood immersion in the art museums of New York City. His work combines classical themes and iconography — often drawn from Greek mythology and Bible stories — with painting and collage techniques associated with 20th century European modernism and American abstract expressionism. A longtime resident of New York City, Reice relocated to Southern California in 1994. One-person exhibitions of Reice’s work have taken place in Switzerland, Germany and throughout the United States. His work is included in many public art collections, including The Jewish Museum in New York and the Ammann Collection in Zurich, Switzerland.
